About Deon
I a
m a teenage only child, being raised by a single mother. Although my first name is

Zamir, I prefer to be called Deon that’s what all my friends call me.
One of my favorite things to do is gaming with my friends from different states and countries on Skype. I also love building computers from scratch and computer programming. I built my first computer just before my 16th birthday because the gaming computer I wanted was pretty expensive. So when my mom ask me what I wanted for my birthday
I said “computer parts” of coursed she looked at me like I was crazy, but she brought everything.
And not only did I finally have a decent computer for gaming I was motivated to get back to my other love.
As a child I always had a overbearing imagination, which was normal, I was a kid.
Nevertheless I seem to get my imaginary world intertwined with the real one,
and made up weird and crazy stories to adults. Eventually I was told I couldn’t
just make up stories like that and pass them as truth.
So stories build up inside of me, fermenting and waiting to be released.
Finally I found a way to liberate all my imagination into one source;
writing. I found writing was fun and stress relieving but I lacked experience in all essential writing etiquette.
It was like a chain wreck on paper; if you can imagine that.
I started writing at 8 years old and wrote my first book at 11 years old, which I lost while moving.
Then begin my first chapter page book at 13 years old. I toke a break in between; and started the
process of editing. My original plan was to just do a bit of editing on my book and self publish, but boy was I wrong. When I started reading through it, I lacked in plot, setting, also structure; now I understand the basics of
“drawing a picture” within my writing. As they say the more experience the better.
So after a couple of years of hard work. I was blessed to meet a wonderful teacher in my school that was nice enough to consult me and proof read my book. He is also a book author of For Goodness Sex available on amazon.
between working with Mr Al and My mom challenging me to stop procrastinating; I mean she actually started writing a book and set a date for us both to be finished. Needless to say it worked! We both self published our books in the same week while I was still 16 years old. My first book was finally complete and it felt great!
My mom already had experience with helping someone else publish their book so getting ours publish was not a problem. My mom wrote a business book about entrepreneurship called Lessons I Learned As An Entrepreneur available on amazon. And I wrote my first fantasy fiction novel:

It has been a great journey writing it and I hope everyone who reads it will enjoy all my efforts!
And I’ll let you in on a something else; I felt so encouraged after getting the first book in the mail and receiving such great support I started working on volume 2 right away and plan for it to be double or more the size of volume 1.

Guardian "Franklin's Story" toke me 3 years to write technicially. Between gaming with my friends and rewriting and editing time flew pass fast. But nevertheless it's finally done!
